Since many are confused with what a dark path actually is, this chapter defines both a light (right-hand) path and a dark (left-hand) path, exploring the universal commonalties of darkside paths. Recently added is a model of spirituality that helps explain how these paths relate to the common goal of spirituality.The second portion of this chapter explores three religions that are considered dark paths: Dark Paganism, Taoism and Satanism.
