In Norway, my country, there is a lot of animosity between the so called "dark" and "light" approach to magick, and to a large extent, this has made me turn away from organized magick/paganism for a while, and focus on my own "agenda". Being a thelemite, I do not share the restrictive ways of most Kabbalistic schools, and norwegian wicca is too much oriented towards "being nice". Nothing wrong with that, but turning one's back to the dark saide of reality is dangerous, as it makes us ignorant and weak to the real "evils" of cosmos. Dark wyccan, I believe I share your enthusiasm of the "dark side", embracing it, but NOT succumbing to it, as i consider myself a goth, as well as a romantic, and I do not believe that a leaning towards the "dark side" predisposes one towards evil, in some cases, on the contrary! I have seen so called "light" magicians condemn the darker aspects of reality to such an extent, that they have themselves become vessels of darkness, with a narrow minded attitude that lashes out towards any one not conforming to their restrictive definition of "white" magick. As the saying goes, Love conquers all, and to be able to love, you must have a firm understanding of both the light as well as the dark side. Still I believe Stormwolf has a point, as i myself would consider you as a follower of the "light" side, but with a heavy pre disposition towards darkness, which makes you an integrated magician, but i guess all this really depends on how you define light and dark...
