well, i don't understand why you think those feet are so awful either. they look fine to me. but it you don't like them try just caring for them extra well and see if you cna get them looking better to you.
when you think you look better, you feel better, and feeling good is pretty important.
there are a few things you can do to get your feet really healthy. here are some of my suggestion:
-moisturize your feet real well every now and then. decide how often you'll do it (once a week, every month, you pick) and decide how you'll do it. one way is to simply buy some good moisturizer (i like vaseline brand products best, jergens is a close second.) depending on how important this is to you, you could probably go all out and buy some real expensive extra high quality lotions, but i can't vouch for how much difference it would make as i've never bought any real expensive lotions. To get some real deep moisturizing you can massage this lotion into the skin really well, then put plastic bags over your feet (this is all best done in private, unless you aren't real picky about being laughed at) then put on a pair of really warm thick socks (if you don't plan on leaving it on for real long then you can actually dampen then microwave the socks so they are very warm, but not hot enough to burn or hurt yourself! first) the warmer your feet stay during this time the more the moisture will penetrate the skin. You can leave this on for just a little while (untill the socks cool if wet) like 20 minutes or so with dry socks, or you cana even wear this overnight (unless the socks are wet, then that will just get cold and hinder progress.) if you will be doing this for long times like overnight, i don't advise doing it too often, probably no more than once a month. but if you only do it for a little while, then it's fine to do it more often.
-putting on lotion and a pair of both warm and breathable socks each night before bed can be an excellent way to moisturize those feet. keeping your feet moist will help nails to be smoother, whiter, and better looking all around. It will also soften the skin of the feet and heels making it more attractive.
-carefully trim off a bit of excess nail if necessary (to shorten a bit), but try to remove the majority of the nail length you want to remove with a file, first the rough side to shape, then the smoother side to smooth it out. This keeps the nails helthier as well. When filing nails strokes should always go from the outer edge on one side to the center, then the file should be lifted and placed at the outer edge of the other side and pushed toward the center. this should be repeated as many times as necessary. then, if the tip is still too long, you can use the smooth side of the file to actually file this shorter from the bottom up. this means that you start under the nail. if a bit of nail is then dragged to the top surface and must be removed one or too very very light strokes with the file all the way over this piece should remove it without a problem.
-if you are very concerned about the nails, you should usually protect them with some coating. you could use clear (or colored) nail polish painted on the nails. there are types of nail conditioners, fortifiers, whiteners, brighteners, enhancers, and strengtheners you available in a brush on like polish. some of these can be found in a very low gloss version if you would prefer not to have this visible. If you use a product like this you should follow directions on the package or bottle. chances are it will say to put on two coats the first day, add a top coat every two or three days, and after a week or two depending on how well the polish holds up, then it should be wiped clean with polish remover and the double coat should be applied again for the saem cycle to repeat. before each time that you fully repaint the nails you should file them and shape them again.
if you aren't thrilled with putting polish type things on your nails, you can actually spray over them with hair spray every morning and wash it off every night. you can use almost any type of hairspray (spray gel works too, but not quite as well for protecting.) the firmer the hold, the more protection. vitamin e enhanced or conditioning hairsprays will help nails become quite healthy. excess spray that gets on skin when spraying can be carefully wiped away (without wiping the nails, as water will destroy this protection) with damp cotton balls, q-tips, or a washcloth. pritecting the nails makes them smoother, whiter, cleaner (and therefore cleaner looking,) healthier, and less likely to break. it's pretty much a win-win situation in my opinion.
-keep some sort of soft scrub brush (nail brushes can be found at most stores) in the shower. every time you shower put a bit of soap on the brush, scrub in small circles over entire top and soel fo feet, then brush the nails in every direction from every angle to remove all dirt and grime. do not scrube too hard of you could do damage, scrub jsut enough to get the feet cleaned well and to exfoliate a bit of excess dead skin. you will probably see a noticeable difference in your feet very quickly after doing this for a bit.
-"sanders" and "grinders" can be purchased in case of callusses or thick skin on feet. they are only a couple bucks and you can get them at almost any store. if this is a problem for you then you should purchase one and follow the included directions to buff away dead skin.
-you can occaisionally use a soft nail buffer (be careful not to use a file and not to buff away any significant amount of the nail) on bare (no polish, spray, etc.) nails. This keeps nails very smooth and healthy looking. Do not do this too very often so you won't think the nails enough to harm anything.
-if there are any marks on the nails, the steps i am explaining are likely to speed the process of growing them out. but for the most part no nail markings go away quickly.
-stimulating the feet is actaully very healthy for the entire body. massage (or if you can, maybe get someone else to massage) each area of each foot occaisionally to keep circulation up and feet healthy.
- if the hair on your toes or feet bothers you, you may want to bleach or remove it. You can find hair bleaching products in almost any store. many options exist for removing the hair. research the ways before attemptiong them. waxes and chemical hair dissiloving creams can be found in stores also. of course when removing hair, there are also always the options to either pluck or shave these areas.
-if you want to go all out you can get a professional pedicure or foot massage.
-wear shoes that fit properly, having shoes too tight or to large can actuall misshape the feet and toes. this will cause problems often with the nails, with calusses, and with many more severe problems of the feet. a proper fitting shoe should also give good support to arch, toes, heel, etc.
-almost all measures taken to improve the condition of feet or nails are most effective when done immediately after showering, taking a bath, or soaking feet in some warm water. (this excludes any painting or spraying of nails, that should be done on dry nails.)
as a general rule of thumb, healthier hands and feet jsut tend to look better. take good care of them and they should look wonderful.
well, good luck with the feet, although i think they look good
hope i could help
