formaldehyde

hi. i enjoyed your site and was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get formaldehyde. in the past, i have used about three drops in a bottle of polish to help strengthen (?) my nails. i really don't know what it did, but my nails don't seem to withstand as much abuse as they used to and i cannot get formaldehyde at my local pharmacy anymore (bummer).
