Hi, I'm an 18 year old art student, so it pretty easy for me to get away with painting my fingernails, not got the confidense to show my toenails yet, but its winter right now, so time will tell. I used to paint my nails in secret for year because I was affraid what my parents would say, but once i moved out 6 weeks ago I started wearing it in public. I think it helps to have people around you who have to get used to you and don't know you to build your confindense, because they tend not to say anything. When i did meet up with my mum and sister for lunch wearing dark purple nail polish, my mum abvilously noticed that i was nervous (plus she saw blue nail polish bottle in my flat), and she didn't say anything except offering t give me some nail polish that she thought wolud be good for me (my 20 year old sister was just rather blunt and didnt hep the confidence at this point, dad didnt have much so say, he's a simple man). Did go down the evavator with my toenails painted purple with flip flops n tonight and there was three other people in there, but they were from French or Portragese, so i had no idea what they were saying.

I usually wear blue, dark blue, purple, dark purple, black. I've ordered some silver and dark green, can't wait for it to arrive. Does anyone know a good place to get mirror-like nail polish?
