Dark colours ALWAYS look better on long nails. Then, when that's dry, you take some gold nail varnish and paint ONLY the tip of your nail in an arc, following the shape of your nail. I know this is hard to do as because I'm right handed i always manage to bugger it up with my left hand, so my left hand is perfect while my right hand is not. But don't worry about if the arc isn't asolutely perfect, from a distance it looks really effective. I should know. I taught this technique to my mates and they like it too. Try it! It's all good! Oh, and another tip is to get those pens with nail varnish in from Boots coz they work really well for getting thin lines and you can draw bats and spell out rude words on your nails. Oh, the joys of nail varnish.
