toe nails....or lack of!

i have an aversion to feet especially long toenails i hate them and obsessively cut them my problem is that with me cutting them some of them are almost gone four of them are about 2mm (i mean the pink bit) and i want to wear open toed sandals this summer but dont want bare nails i couldnt do that but i cant paint 2mm of nail that wold look stupid and would be difficult help (also sometimes i cut my nails so short that they bleed i know its bad for them but i think that if they were gone it would be ok is it possible to cut nails so short they dissappear?) im proud of my finger nails and would love to feel the same about toes.
