Like everything else you're born with, your toe nails are there for a reason, and while it may be possible to have them removed surgically, I would suggest that you don't (in all the years I've been doing nails I've never heard of anyone having this done, and you may have trouble finding a surgeon who knows how to do it properly or will even consider it). Please stop cutting your toe nails until they bleed!!!!!!!! This is sooooo very dangerous, as infected toe nails can lead to many other problems (blood poisoning or loss of a toe or foot, and this is especially true if you are diabetic). You can keep your toe nails short without having them look "gross", and the easiest way to do this is to keep them clean and well-shaped.
