Keep a strengthener on your nails, and re-apply it every other day. After a week or two, start over again, but keep applying the strengthener, and you shouldn't have any problems. Anything you put on the nails (polish, strengthener, nail wraps) will help to maintain the strength and make the nails less prone to breaking. Also, keep the nails and cuticles moisturized with cuticle oil and hand lotion. Applied daily (there's no such thing as using too much oil or lotion, so you can apply them after every handwashing, if you like), they will also add flexibility to the nails. Good general maintenance is the key to long natural nails.
