"I got tired of being under the thumb of someone else's lame domain name one day after a few bad experiences with the guy who owned the server, and I decided to just get my own." Says Macross. "Digital Angel was borrowed from the Battery song of the same name and was one of the few names I came up with that hadn't already been registered by someone else."

DA was originally going to be Mac's claim to fame as a upstart web design business, but after a year and a half of dealing with customers, employees, taxes and what not, he developed a strong dislike of business and decided to scrap the idea and just use the server for his own enjoyment.

Macross' weekly internet radio show via Digital Angel, called In Perpetual Motion, features music from net.goth bands and other gothic, industrial and electronic musicians from around the world. Most of IPM's playlists consist of "local" or unsigned bands and bands on independant and smaller record labels.
