Formed in the early 90's by singer/guitarist Sean Brennan, the band includes Tamlyn (keyboard) and Michael Areklett (bass). These members have been in the band since 1990 (Sean and Tamlyn) to early 1992 (Michael).

London After Midnight has been known as a band of "firsts". Always trying something different and new, and never content to be just another band. Classified by the press as a Gothic band, they break all the "rules" of the current Gothic music scene (as if any rules exist to begin with). London After Midnight produces their own unique brand of music, which cannot truly be labeled as Gothic, Industrial or Alternative, but more accurately described as the "London After Midnight Sound". Sean Brennan takes pride in the fact that London After Midnight does not fit into any category, saying "Only sheep want to belong and fit safely into a category. We don't want to be clones of someone else. We shun labeling and the mentality that all "Gothic Music" has to sound a certain way. Gothic was born out of Anarchy, from the Punk movement, and, as I see it, it should have no boundaries or guidelines. Also, we are artists, and the whole thing about creating is bringing something into existence that was not there before. So when you create something and put a label on it, it defeats the purpose and takes away the uniqueness of the art." (Sean Brennan- excerpt from German radio interview)

Since 1991, London After Midnight has toured extensively, playing concerts on the West coast of the USA to New York City, and all over Mexico where they drew crowds of over 5,000 people. They have appeared on major radio stations and MTV in Latin America and Europe. In 1995, with the release of their CDs on Apocalyptic Vision Records Germany, the band began it's tours to Europe. From 1995-97 they headlined four sold out tours through Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, Scotland and England playing to tens of thousands of fans, including a co-headlining date on the 1998 Zillo Open Air festival with The Cure.
