This resource is open to anyone of the Gothic/Alternative Community. If you are unsure if you fit into this category you probably are in the wrong place.

The focus of the Gothic Classifieds is to assist in creating a sense of community where kindred spirits can keep informed and work among themselves.

I make two exceptions to free posting: I request a small fee from businesses advertising in the For Sale category (click here for more details). Why? Because I don't want businesses posting a zillion ads and making it hard for the rest of us to sell things, etc. I also request an even smaller fee for the Personal ads section to keep the service from getting bogged down in vanity ads.

Since this is a free service, we ask that you consider making an annual donation of any amount to help fray the costs of site maintenance. Believe me, costs add up!!

Make sure to be specific in what you are offering or looking for so as not to have any misunderstandings.

Since we cater to all age groups, please keep your ads somewhat clean.

Do not include phone numbers in your ads unless you are a business. Home phone numbers will be deleted.

NO work-at-home, psychic hotlines, or "get rich quick" schemes. I can't police them and there are way too many who abuse them to rip folks off.

Registration

You must use a valid email address during registration or the system will be unable to deliver response to your ad(s). Accounts with an invalid email address will be deleted to maintain the quality and reliability of this service.

Members can place more than one ad under the same account but should not post the SAME ad a million times.

Since we allow multiple ads per account, multiple accounts (i.e. registrations) for any one individual are not permitted and will be deleted when discovered.

Sharing an account is not appropriate.

E-mail

Only respond to ads that genuinely interest you. Do not send rude or threatening messages - abuses will not be tolerated.

I have no tolerance for "spamers" - they are not welcome here. I know my rights and I know how to handle the legalities.

If you reply to an ad and get no response, it is ok to try again once more in case the message was somehow lost. However, if there is no response after that, please consider that a "not interested" and refrain from further contact.
