Group Overview: The Temple of the Evening Star is a legally incorporated Minoan Wiccan Temple with covens in New York City and Westchester. Janine a member of Temple of the Evening Star, will be hosting a monthly Outer Court teaching circles. This is a unique opportunity for individuals interested in exploring Wicca as a spiritual path to learn the basics with the guidance of the elders of an established tradition.

The term Outer Court refers to those in the Tradition who are not initiated members of the Clergy. The Tradition maintains a strong commitment to its Outer Court members. We believe that not everyone needs or desires to be part of the Clergy, and that there is much which the Tradition has to offer and to gain from its Outer Court Members.

Date: August 2008 -March 2009

Location: Staten Island, New York

Format: Classes will cover the fundamentals of Wiccan theology, philosophy, history and practice (i.e. the Goddess and God, ethics and beliefs)

Donation: $5 per class to cover room rental but if unable to pay, you will not be turned away, all are welcome.

Note: Completion of these classes does not guarantee initiation into the Minoan Fellowship Tradition. However, as some of the Elders leading classes maybe be forming covens of their own, dedicated students with an interest in coven work and the Minoan Fellowship Tradition may have an opportunity to join these newly forming covens. In this way, we hope to serve all seekers without their having to commit to formal training.
