| Entry # 91 | Date Posted: May 11, 2006 | My Craft name is Sky. I was initiated as a Witch in 1990 by Dawn Blaze coven and I later helped form the elder group Flambé in 1997 - both in Connecticut. I currently still work with Flambé but I also yearn to form a new coven as well. I am a 33 year old gay male, living in Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow, and my time to teach the Craft has arrived. So far the future coven consists of 2 other potential members.
I wish to seek a couple more students before beginning this journey as a coven. Any gender, age, or orientation is welcome if you are open-minded. I am not forming a traditional Coven. It will be a less hierarchical group and I plan to do dedication and after a year, initiation - no degrees. My orientation to Witchcraft is non-traditional and open. I consider myself a Taoist Witch. I celebrate the Sabbats but avoid the Wiccan mythology of sexual interplay between “God” and “Goddess”. I tend to have a Queer, yet inclusive, focus on ritual, magick, and divinities.
So if you are interested in learning the Craft, or you are continuing your journey in the Craft and want a Coven, or you feel that you are this person I am seeking, please contact me. Of course, after a few emails I will need to meet with you to discuss your interests and my orientation to the Craft. If this is successful, I will arrange a get-together of all the potential members and we can assess our compatibility before starting the group.
