MTA NYC transit
MTA New York City Transit is the largest agency in the MTA network. In fact, New York City Transit is one of the most extensive and complex public transportation systems in the world, operating 24-hour-a-day bus and subway service throughout the five boroughs.
Long Island Rail Road
The LIRR system is comprised of nine branches, stretching from the eastern tip of Montauk, Long Island to the newly refurbished Penn Station in the heart of Manhattan, approximately 120 miles away.
Metro North Rail Road
Metro-North goes to 119 stations distributed in seven counties in New York--Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester, Bronx, New York (Manhattan), Rockland, and Orange--and two counties in Connecticut--New Haven and Fairfield. Three main lines--the Hudson, the Harlem, and the New Haven -- operate out of Grand Central Terminal in New York City, and two lines west of the Hudson River--the Port Jervis and the Pascack Valley lines--operate out of New Jersey Transit's terminal in Hoboken, N.J. The Hudson Line extends 74 miles from Grand Central Terminal to Poughkeepsie; the Harlem, 82 miles to Wassaic; and the New Haven, which also has three branch lines--the New Canaan, Danbury, and Waterbury--72 miles to New Haven. The Port Jervis Line runs 95 miles from Hoboken to Port Jervis, with 30 of those miles in New Jersey; the Pascack Valley Line extends 31 miles from Hoboken to Spring Valley, 25 of those miles being in New Jersey.
Bee-Line bus
Serving throughout westchester county. They also have some busses that go to the Bronx and Manhattan.
Liberty Lines Express
Liberty Lines Transit, Inc. provides local bus transportation services throughout Westchester County on 57 routes. Additionally, express service is provided between Westchester county and Manhattan.
The Red and Tan Lines
Their "Community Coach" provides commuter service from Morris and Essex Counties into the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City.

LEPRECHAUN Lines
The Leprechaun Connection transports passengers from Dutchess and Putnam Counties in the mornings, and returns from White Plains and Westchester Medical Center in the evenings. They serve downtown White Plains as well as corporate parks along Westchester Avenue.
CT TRANSIT
Provider of public transit local and express bus services in the greater Hartford, New Haven, and Stamford Connecticut metro areas.
NJ TRANSIT
NJ TRANSIT is the nation's third largest provider of bus, rail and light rail transit - linking major points in New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia.
