i have gotten silk nails twice now, and the second time i used them, they stuck my hands in a liquid. i thought it was rubbing alcohol, but then some friends of mine told me that they used vinegar to remove the nails. which one is it?

If you want quick and easy false nails a really good brand is W7 glue on false nails. They tend to come in sizes that are good for mens nails which are often wider. I find this especially helpful since I'm a guy with thumbnails which are quite wide. While glue ons are not as realistic or high quality as other types of false nail eg:acrylic, they are much cheaper and easier to apply and remove, an important consideration for guys in particular who want to remove them when the situation is not suitable for something as effemininate. W7 nails come in french nails, if you're like me and polish them black the french nails look great due to their length and the underside, a very light pink which contrasts well with the black. I have a set of 10 already polished up this way and have a second set I plan to file to look like claws.

Artificial nails shouldn't damage your nails at all! there is no need to file the nail down so find a good nail tech who will apply them properly!

If you see an electric file then get outta there!!!

Artificial nails are pretty nice, but require some daily care. Artificial nails may make your cuticles a little dry, so exfoliate them with St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Also lotion will help some, so you might try Vaseline Intensive Care or Suave Berry Smoothie. Artificial nails can get scratched so file and buff away the imperfections. These tips should help!!!
