Aion 131
Aion 131 is a writer, teacher, ceramic artist and practicing Eclectic Ritualist who was first introduced to Mythology & alternative spirituality in New York where he grew up. He is one of the founding editors of Mandragore, a journal of alternative spirituality and eclectic ritualism published in New York City. In 1981 he was awarded an MA in Ancient History/Cross Cultural Studies from Western Washington University where he also was an assistant instructor for three years. His research has included the magickal/religious traditions of Egypt, Sumeria, Greece, Rome, China, Japan, South East Asia. India, Europe and Pacific Northwest Indians (Kwakiutl).

Black Quill Element

The Temple of Set is not just another occult group. It is a group of individuals who are actively pursuing the Left Hand Path of Self-discovery through the philosophical principle of Xeper, Coming into Being.

One way that they realize Xeper is through artistic expression.

The Black Quill Element is an Element within the Temple of Set that strives for Self-individuation through the publication of literary works: poetry, prose, essays – that will convey some of our personal comprehension of Setian philosophical belief outside the "walls" of the Temple into what they call the Objective Universe. Bridges, Vincent

Vincent Bridges is the co-author of A Monument to the End of Time: Alchemy, Fulcanelli and the Great Cross (by Jay Weidner and Vincent Bridges, Aethyrea Books, 1999, 2000), as well as co-author of Mysteries of the Great Cross at Hendaye: Alchemy and the End of Time, Destiny Books, 2003, and Interlude with Sally Hemings: Diary of a Spiritual Healing (by R.J. Gabriel, with Vincent Bridges).

Burns, Teresa

Teresa Burns is an English professor with an interest in Renaissance Hermeticism, especially the connection between the magical systems of John Dee, Edward Kelley, and Giordano Bruno to the literature and architecture of the time. Her articles have appeared in the Journal of the Western Mystery Tradition. She and Nancy Turner have created translated the first English edition of The Consecrated Little Book of Black Venus, or Tuba Veneris, attributed to John Dee. They are also currently working on the first English translation of Dee's Monas Hieroglyphica in over 50 years.

DARLENE

DARLENE is an artist/illustrator who got her start in the late 1970s doing fantasy artwork for RPG (role-playing games) and is quite renowned in classic RPG circles. Throughout her life and art, DARLENE has always balanced her imagination and intuitive knowing with investigations into the use and meaning of symbols, esoteric scripts and alphabets as well as sacred geometry. Gardner, Rev. Kevin

Reverend Kevin Gardner has been counseling people for over 30 years, and teaching both in person and via correspondence for about 20 years. He has spent 7 years as a Correctional Officer, doing Pastoral Counseling with inmates on a near daily basis. A student of the Wiccan Faith since the early 70's, Kevin Gardner was formally trained through, and a graduate of, the Church & School of Wicca.

Jeffrey S. Kupperman is an instructor in Religious Studies, Philosophy and Anthropology with an interest in Antique, Renaissance and Modern Western esotericisms and esoteric religions. He is the publisher of, and contributor to, the Journal of the Western Mystery Tradition.

 
Legard, Phil

Amongst other things: a musician, magician and Yorkshireman. Phil is chiefly interested in the intersection of psychogeography, folklore, esoteric spirituality and music, the fruits of which are collected on Larkfall imprint. Malphas

Malphas has been studying and practicing the Art of Magic for roughly three decades. For even longer, he has been participating in the rising Dark Culture commonly associated with the Industrial and Gothic musical genres. His current work, The Black Ship, goes to the common source of these two loves. Malphas knows how to build great Houses and Citadels. Turner, Nancy

Nancy Turner has a background in classical and medieval Latin, medieval and Renaissance history, the History of Science, and German literature. She teaches at a small college in the U.S. She and Teresa Burns are currently working on a new English translation of John Dee's Monas Hieroglyphica, which they hope to have ready for publication soon.
