Save Cthulhu (Lovecraft Mythos Humor)

cthulhu This is Cthulhu. He's the cutest evil being on the planet.

Unfortunately, this remnant from the lost R'lyeh will DIE December 31st at the stroke of midnight if you don't help!

I rescued him several months ago. One of his tentacles had gotten stuck in a gutter drain and was severely sprained. I took him in, not expecting him to make it through the night, but miraculously he did! I have since spent several months nursing him back to health. Cthulhu is a fighter, to say the least!

Unfortunately, at end of year, cute, lovable Cthulhu will die. I am still deciding how he will meet his demise but let's just say it is not going to be pretty.

I don't want to kill Cthulhu. He has come to be my friend, and he has always been the most loving, adorable companion destined to one day enslave and ultimately devour humanity. However, as God is my witness, I will take this little guy out unless I raise $60,000 (USD).

You can help this poor, tentacled creature's cause by making donations through my verified PayPal account by clicking on any of the Donate buttons on this site, or by purchasing merchandise at the SaveCthulhu.com online store.

We're off to a shaky start so things are looking bleak for the little feller.

In memory of Howard Phillips Lovecraft (20 August 1890 to 15 March 1937), best known as a writer of weird fiction and horror and he who as brought the Necronomicon and the Cthulhu Mythos to light, not to mention one who has not only inspired writers but everything from magic to role playing games like Cthulhu Lives. Truly he was an agent of the Great Old Ones.

To learn more about Cthulhu read H.P. Lovecraft's excellent horror stories and of course consult the dreaded Necronomicon for more about the Old Ones and their minion.
